Early Bird Lap Swimming

Early Bird Lap Swimming is available to members only; members may not bring guests. During swim-team season (from opening to end of July), Early Birds can access the pool on M-F before 7:30AM and on Sat/Sun before 10:30AM. After the final weekend in July, Early Birds can use the pool on M-F before 10:30AM. There will be several weekend mornings throughout the summer when the lifeguards will have in-service trainings before 10AM, which takes priority over Early-Bird lap swimming. All Early Birds must complete the Early Bird Waiver form. Once you complete a form, you will be contacted with instructions for accessing the pool itself.

No lifeguards are on duty during Early Bird hours; you are swimming at your own risk.
Early Bird lap swimming is available to adults only (18 and up) with the following exceptions: teens aged 15-18 can petition the Pool Manager to be allowed.
The gate into the parking lot will be closed during these hours; Early Birds need to park outside the gate.
Early Birds may use the pool for lap-swimming or aquatics exercise ONLY. No diving.
The Key West Club strongly advises participants never to swim alone and to bring a cell phone in case of emergency; the phone in the Snack Shack will not be available during Early Bird hours.
Early Birds should close the gate upon departure and make sure to leave the pool area in the condition in which it was found.
Early Birds may be required to learn how to safely fold back the thermal cover on the pool if it is in place when they arrive (varies by season).

Ursa Timber specializes in Live-edge slabs and mobile and custom sawmilling. We do all we can to save fallen hardwoods from rotting on the ground or being chipped up or burned. We also do our best to know the history and location of every log we mill.
