Is there an initiation fee?
KWC does not require an initiation fee.
Does KWC offer partial-season memberships?
KWC offers pro-rated memberships only to families who move into the neighborhood once the season has begun. There are no partial-season memberships or day passes.
Can I bring guests?
Yes! See our page about guest fees and policies.
What are the amenities at KWC?
Our 40-acre facility includes two asphalt tennis/pickleball courts, a heated, lifeguarded 25-yard swimming pool with diving well and board, a toddler pool, a large concrete deck and raised wooden deck with lounge chairs and tables, two gas grills, and a sheltered area with restrooms, snack bar, and game tables. Walking trails run through woods alongside the Rivanna River, and there is a river beach from which members can put in kayaks. We have a small number of spaces in our community garden that members can cultivate.
Members can enjoy access to the property year-round (though the pool closes around Labor Day).
What is the difference between a land-use membership and a full-access membership?
Our full-access members can use the pool, courts, the trails, and the community garden, and they can host guests at the facility. Our land-use members can use the trails and the community garden.
