The Key West Killer Whales welcomes swimmers of all abilities aged 5-18; our summer team competes in the Jefferson Swim League. Our mission is to promote water safety and help kids become life-long swimmers by providing great coaching and a positive atmosphere that encourages team spirit and personal growth. Membership in the Key West Club is not required for swim team.

Registration Fees & Process
Registration fees cover up to 12 weeks of swim practices, six swim meets, & the championship meet; plus, every registered swimmer will receive a Killer Whale t-shirt and a swim cap. We do offer need-based scholarships for families who would not otherwise be able to participate; inquire with us if you are interested in learning more.
For KWC members, the fee is $190 per swimmer for the first two children in a family and $115 for each child after the second (the “2+ Rate”).
For non-members, the fee is $220 for the first two children and $130 for each child thereafter.
If you are ready to register your swimmers, complete this Google form. In order to swim in JSL meets this summer, we need this form plus your payment no later than 30 May 2025.
If possible, we would prefer payment by check, as that saves the Killer Whales the transaction fees associated with online payments. Please make it out to Key West Club, put “swim team” on the memo line, and drop it in the locked mailbox for 393 Key West Drive, which stands at the head of the pool road.
If you prefer to pay online, see Swim Team Registration on this page. We show the non-member rates there, but current members who pay online will see the member discount applied at check- out. Be sure to renew your membership before paying your swim team registration fees!
