Will is a fine-furniture maker, woodworker, and YouTube craftsperson who loves telling of the story of a thing. Taylor is a cattle farmer focused on regenerative agriculture, rotational grazing, and being a steward of the land. Taylor and Will joined forces recovering storm-fell, standing-dead, or trees being removed for safety reasons or otherwise would be cut up for removal or burned, and milling the trees into lumber for fine-furniture or fences. Ursa Timber specializes in Live-edge slabs and mobile and custom sawmilling. We do all we can to save fallen hardwoods from rotting on the ground or being chipped up or burned. We also do our best to know the history and location of every log we mill. Ursa Timber was officially born January 2024 and while a kiln and retail barn are in our future plans, we are still sticking lumber to air-dry and currently connecting people with kiln services in the area if needed.
